We were commisioned by New Work Network & Open Dialogues to design RITE, a publication that brings together 19 original texts by uk based art writers that question the essay form, use of language as material, and attempt to explore the different ways that writing can be on or about new work.
Our approach was to treat each text uniquely, finding new layout and typographic solutions for each piece. The identity of RITE uses a font we have been developing called Bellak. The images shown above were produced in response to a score by writer and editor Rachel Lois Clapham.
